Microsoft ASP.NET Futures (July 2007): Using the Media Control
This sample shows:
- The
Media control and chapter, marker, and caption handling.
To run this sample, your browser requires the latest release of Silverlight. If
the browser does not have the correct version of Silverlight, the Xaml
control automatically renders placeholder UI that the user can click to install
Silverlight.
Example 1: Using the Media control and Sys.Preview.UI.Xaml.Media.Player class
In this example, you must click the Play button to start the movie. You
see the markup that is modified through the marker handlers and chapter handlers. You also see the caption from the
movie appear in the caption area of the player.
Captions remain displayed in the player until a blank caption (text) is located, or until the player is paused, stopped, or
seeking.
If you enter a Set Time value, the movie jumps to that point in the movie. If you enter a caption, you
see the change in the caption area in the player.
Note Time values represent the play time at the point that the method is called.
